Actually, in my post there was no point, it was just a redelivery of news. I dislike the fact that there is no Convergence EMEA any more, and I know that it will be replaced by smaller market-tailored events, but yet... Somehow, "saving customer's money" doesn't seem to be the right reason - if customers want to save money, they'll save it, with or without Convergence. If they want to spend it, and there is no Convergence to spend it on, they'll spend it on something else. Anyway, Convergence or not, there is a lot of beer and many steaks awaiting, let's do the first round in Opatija! @Vibor: yes, the beer was good, the steak only half so. However, as I've read - Microsoft plans to go on with number of smaller, market - tailored events throughout EMEA region... But still, I can see your point.
